Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting, specializing in International Conference Interpreting, and a sworn/certified translator, I have been in the professional translation business for 25 years working from Catalan into Spanish, Spanish into Catalan, French into Spanish, French into Catalan, English into Spanish and English into Catalan.
WHO
My customers’ confidence in my services led me to extend them to cover other language combinations and to do so I partnered with a network of professional, native translators, all graduates in Translation and Interpreting or other related disciplines. We are all rigorous, expert professionals in our specialist fields and share the same approach to our work and the same values: quality, seriousness, experience, ongoing personal customer care, timeliness, approachability, confidentiality and the desire to deliver a job well done.

I am mainly dedicated to specialized translation, dealing with legal and financial matters, international trade, internationalization, corporate documents, tourism, websites and localization.

However, my passion for literature in general, and especially for children’s literature, led me to also devote much of my time to literary translation and working with publishing houses. You can see the works I have translated by clicking on PORTFOLIO.
Generally speaking, proofreading a text involves correcting spelling, syntax and style to improve it, seeking to ensure that it meets the standards and requirements of communication and is consistent in all respects. Ultimately, every effort is made so that these improvements convey the message smoothly and accurately. A well-written text is the best letter of presentation.
The mission of our language consultancy service is to try to clear up doubts, provide suggestions and offer well-reasoned proposals to improve written copy.

Translation is a profession and an art, which is why we only partner with accredited professionals. Our translations are checked and undergo thorough quality control before delivery.

We strive to keep a strict quality assurance system based on the ISO 17100:2015 Quality Standard for translation services.
This results in translations that are faithful to the original. Special attention is paid to each customer’s particular requirements, respecting style, terminology and naturalness in the target language.
If appropriate, computer aided translation tools (CAT) such as SDL Trados and MemoQ can be used.
